The following images are part of an ongoing collaboration with Japan-based Global Peace Campaign and Veterans for Peace, Inc.

Taken over the period of 10 days from December 27-January 5 , 2001/2002, these photographs document Afghan refugee camps in and around Peshawar, near the Afghanistan border. 3 million Afghans took refuge in Pakistan.

These images are of people who need our sympathy and help. "Our" means all of the people of good will world wide.
