Carlo Leon works on his algebra problem in an alley as his friends admire his work. They are college students as well. They all live in the Belair district of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Now that President Jean -Bertrand Aristide has been deposed by a paramilitary army, backed by the U.S., the students worry about the future of their education.
