These "rebels" were trained across the border from Haiti in the Dominican Republic by the US Military to support the February 28, 2004 overthrow of Aristide. They were funded by the US and led by notorious figures such as Louis Jodel Chamblain, the vice-president of the notorious paramilitary death-squad FRAPH (Front for the Advancement and Progress of Haiti.)
