Photos create specific interest that can rivet an audience, combined with witnessing the real history of the past decades.

Alan has lectured for diplomatic students in Tokyo, Japan, at the International Humanitarian Law Center at Notre Dame, at the Sorbonne in France, at the University of New Mexico, the University of Texas, Southwest College in McAllen, Texas and other colleges and Universities. He has given presentations before high school students, church groups - and numerous other places. Alan can tailor his presentation to any age group or level of sophistication.

Alan connects the dots from Vietnam to Iraq, migrant farm labor in Mexico and throughout the US, Death Row in Texas, Haiti and from his work throughout Latin and South America and Cuba. The subject is understanding an interconnected world from a humanitarian perspective, and moving towards a more peaceful future.
